Hey there! I’m Che Lewis, an avid Monty Python fan, lover of jokes and puns and someone who always tries to make others happy and smile!

I have loved jokes and puns since I was about 8 years old when I discovered books with 1001 jokes. I have never been much of a reader but I always loved reading those joke books with their fun hand sketched cartoon drawings.

As an adult and a dad myself I enjoy a well timed pun. I also grew up with a dad who made dad jokes every day! While they were eye-roll inducing, they also gave smiles and occasionally a laugh out loud. My favorite joke he ever made up was, “what do you call a cold and angry piece of meat? A ham brrrr grrrrr!” It still makes me laugh.

About Here’s A Joke

Being a lover of jokes and puns I found that as the internet has grown, the quality of the curated joke lists has been bad in my opinion.

I found myself finding websites with lists of jokes that I read through and were filled with unfunny or unsuitable content. Some are terribly offensive and should in my opinion never be said out loud, let alone be read by someone looking to find a quick funny pun on an everyday thing. There has also been a rise in AI and the amount of ‘joke sites’ popping up with AI created jokes that don’t make sense or are not funny is making it more difficult for people to find actually funny jokes.

So I thought I could do better. I thought that I could create a website that was an archive of only the best puns and jokes and has only good clean humor. A place to create and share my own jokes as well as readers. And a place for everyone to get a laugh easily and from potentially every joke on the website.

Here’s A Joke began as a team effort, but it’s now solely under my watch. I’m dedicated to revisiting and tweaking each post, ensuring they’re the best jokes you’ll find.

All jokes and puns on the website are either public domain, created by me or sent in by our readers. Just know that I really try to curate these joke lists so that you get to read only the best jokes. But I also need people like you to help make Here’s A Joke the best joke site it can be! So please get in touch with me if you have suggestions to improve the site!

I have also begun to create funny printable games and activities such as fill-in-the-blanks and silly card games. I will be adding a store front to the website for these as well!

All pictures on the website have been created by me and that I own the rights too. The only advertisements you’ll spot here are those that keep this website going.
